This is Sergio Oliveira Jr’s personal blog, hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We have added no advertising or visitor analytics tools.

Reading and preferences

Cloudflare processes connection information to deliver and protect the pages. Your theme and explicitly selected language preferences stay in your browser. At the root address, we use your saved language choice; otherwise, we check the browser’s preferred languages, falling back to English. We do not use your location to choose a language. Fonts are served by this blog.

Comments

Comments use our own Garrul installation on Cloudflare. No account or email address is required: choose a display name and write. Your name, comment, and posting time are public. English and Portuguese discussions are separate.

Garrul stores comments and moderation information. To prevent abuse, it may store a keyed hash of an IP address and browser information. It uses session cookies for features such as recognizing an author. Cloudflare Turnstile checks whether a comment submission is legitimate.

Visitors do not need to sign in to comment. The administrator uses GitHub to access moderation. The administrator receives email notifications of new comments and reports through Resend. These messages include the display name and comment, including comments still awaiting approval. Resend and the administrator’s email provider process this information to deliver the notifications. We do not send email notifications to readers. Avoid putting personal information you do not want to make public in comments.
